So it’s the end of January and many people’s New Year resolutions have been broken and long forgotten. Some have wanted to quite smoking, cut down on drinking, or lose weight. All very noble gestures, and nothing wrong with them at all. Several years ago I tried a slightly different approach to making a New [...]

This was a question posted on a relationship advice forum recently. What was interesting was that many people who submitted a comment replied that they too felt that, at times, they wondered if they would ever find someone right for them. Stop that kind of thinking immediately! The whole marriage/relationship world has changed over the [...]

Relationships can experience added stress over Christmas and the New Year, especially because we may spend more time together, drink more and argue over food, family and the in-laws! If that wasn’t enough, stress over jobs, the economy and general money worries is placing added pressure on relationships and many are going bust over the [...]

A relationship between equals who needs it? Surprisingly some women don’t! They are happy to take a back seat in their marriage/relationship. For a long time I have assumed that in order to be part of a loving, caring, relationship most decisions and tasks had to be split relatively equally between either partner. There would [...]

I was checking out some relationship advice forums when I saw this post. The question posted was, ‘what are the main reasons a man leaves a woman’. For such a simple question the comments that were received numbered several thousand. It seems there were many men just itching to submit a comment, the main reasons [...]

I can still feel that crushingly numb sensation even though it was more than 40 years ago! Getting dumped by a woman I cared deeply about. She was my life, everything revolved around her. Most of my conscious thoughts were about her. How could she reject me? Had she lost her senses? Then, to add [...]

Earlier this week A Danish website ‘Beautiful People.Com’ removed 30,000 ‘ugly’ people from it’s website. It seems their site was hacked, which allowed thousands of people usually deemed ‘unsuitable’ to be accepted automatically as members. It took weeks for the error to be noticed before action was taken to remove these undesirable ‘members’. I believe [...]
